    Nukus-Usturt Plateau-Barsa kelmes-Sudochie lake-Aral sea

    Departure from Nukus at 8 o’clock in the morning to discover the Ustyurt Plateau and Aral sea life. On the way we pass Khojeli and Kungrad districts, which were the Trading centers during the Silk Road period. On the way we pass the Soda Plant and Uzbekistan-Korea Gas Chemical Plant. Arrive at Barsakelmes Natural Saltpit, its huge salt lake, where the Soda Plant taking its main resource. After we go to the Sudochie lake. Upon arrival at the lake we stop at the ancient Light House hill. Then you can visit the abandoned settlement of the Russian and Polish people who were repressed during the Stalin regimen. You can see the ruins of the hospital, cane houses and old Fish Factory. As well you can talk with fishermen, who currently do the fishing and observe the different kinds of birds. Drive to Aral sea yurt camp. Arrive to the camp side late in the evening. Have dinner. Stay overnight at the Yurt.

    Aral sea-Kurgancha kala, Nomads cemetery- Keinchiyak Mis (Soviet military Camp)-Aral sea camp

    Early wake up to take pictures of sunrise over the sea. Have breakfast. After breakfast Visit the ancient fortress “Kurgancha kala” XIII c. Drive 60 km further along the edge of Ustyurt Plateau, on the way stop at the ancient cemetery of Nomads, drive to Keinchiyak Mis, where located the previous Soviet Military Base camp, take pictures of the beautiful Canyons and collapsed lands. Have a walk on the sea shore and take a swim. The mud is very helpful for the leg and the salty sea water is good for the skin. Free time to look for the Megaladon Shark teeth (2-35 million years old). Have Dinner. Stay overnight at the yurt camp under millions of stars.

    Aral sea- Komsomolsk settlement-Moinak-Mizdakhan-Gaur kala-Nukus

    Have breakfast. Departure to Moinak. On the way we stop at the cemetery of Nomads, visit the settlement “Kubla Ustyurt” on the Plateau. Meet the local people. Taste the camel milk. Then continue our way via the bottom of the dried Aral sea. Arrive in Moynak town. Lunch at the Guest house. Visit the cemetery of Ships, local museum and watch the short documentary film about Moinak life in the past. Drive back to Nukus. Stop at the architectural complex of the XIV c “Mizdakhan” and Gaur kala ruin VI-IV B.C. Arrive in Nukus.
